Who we are

Founded over 30 years ago, Symmetry Commercial is a multidisciplinary team specialising in the management & execution of commercial, education & healthcare property works & facility maintenance.

Symmetry is a Victorian registered building practitioner holding a commercial license.  

What we do

Our trade specialists complete projects big & small, on time, on budget, safely & with seamless administration. We pride ourselves not just on execution, but also on administration & compliance, ensuring we make our client’s jobs as easy as possible.


Our Educational Projects


We have an in-depth understanding of the needs and requirements unique to the Education sector. Higher activity levels in repair and major preventative maintenance for example, is conducted during semester breaks, to minimise disruption to student education.


In building strong client relationships in the Education sector, we have developed a detailed understanding of the challenges our clients face in order to maintain service delivery at best practice levels. This knowledge enables us to adapt quickly to our clients’ changing needs and collaboratively identify how these needs can be best met.


Melbourne High School

Working with the school’s facilities team and architect to refurbish several classrooms T17 and T36.


It was the schools idea that these classrooms would act as “Prototypes ” for future upgrades within the heritage listed Forest Hill Building.


I may also chat about fabricating the wall mount joinery which incorporates specified pin boards (Ecopanel), writing boards (Abet Lamanati Magnetico) and kidney shaped table tops, other…see attached info.


Our Medical Projects

Medical Fit Outs

We understand the unique requirements and specific needs of medical facilities.  We have undertaken a variety of medical fit outs covering GP’s consulting rooms, dentists, plastic surgeries to name just a few.

We have also built several Cochlear Care Centre’s for Cochlear Limited.
